You can get some groans and laughs with these; some are fairly old . . . I heard them in the fifties and they may have been old then. When I shared them with my grandchildren, sometimes they got them; but the reason I shared them was to encourage examining math and see if they could develop a math joke to make me laugh. I should add that I have a math degree so I would be drawn to this book without having grandchildren for a reason.Even if you're not a mathematician, you will enjoy quite a few of the jokes.

One of the upsides of is that almost anyone can publish their work. That is also one of the downsides. I can't think of any reputable publisher that would touch this book. And obviously, one hasn't. It is full of errors that a proofreader would catch in a second. Several jokes are repeated in different sections of the book. Grammatical mistakes make understanding some of the jokes difficult, and once you figure out what it's supposed to say, it has lost any intended humor. I did not expect every joke to be new, but anyone who has kept up on math jokes will have heard 95% of them. The rest, such as the knock-knock jokes, are so bad that you can't believe what you are reading. The only pro that I can think of is that I did not spend more than $2.99 for this. But I'd feel a lot better if I had given it to the homeless guy down the street...
